S.W. ODOM DIED AT GIRARD SUNDAY
Samuel Washington Odom, 60, member of a pioneer family of Burke County, died at his home in Girard Sunday, June 27th after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at the Girard Methodist Church Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock. The Rev. C. A. Morrison assisted by the Rev. E. H. Sunday, officiated. Interment followed in Bethlehem Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Agnes Odom; daughter, Mrs. Frank Kacsik of Tampa, Fla.; two sons, Lunder and G.W. Odom of Girard; sister, Mrs. H.S. Helma of Vidalia, Ga.; and five grandchildren.
