Mr. Amsden, 83 died in his room at the Windsor House. He was the son of Rollin and Mary Ann (Wilder) Amsden. He graduated from Windsor High School in the class of 1870 and then apprenticed himself to the trade of machinist. His wife, Miss Jennie Robinson predeceased him. He was survived by his daughter, Mrs. Wyman Flint.
