Known as "Gip". No stone at site but burial verified. He was born Thomas Gibson Livingston, the son of notorious Missouri Civil War guerilla leader Thomas Robinson Livingston. It appears that he "changed" his name around age 19 to disassociate himself from his father's infamy and he practiced medicine in Illinois for the same reason. His sons Hardy and Don Ambrose also sometimes used an "e" on Livingston. The middle name of Parkinson was his grandmother's name from her second marriage. Some records show him using an "e" on Livingston. He last practiced in Alton, Illinois where he was hit by a car and killed while crossing the street. He previously practiced in Harrisonville, Illinois. For a time he practiced medicine in Seneca/Axtell, Kansas in late 1880's and believe he was thre because his mother-in-law Margaret Dougherty lived thre and was older and ill.
