Son of Harry Albert Hunter Sr. and Cora Priscilla (Machamer) Hunter. He was married June 14, 1941 in Wiconisco.

Clyde Q. Hunter, 83, of Swatara Township and formerly of Susquehanna Township, died Friday at home.

He was a retired parts supervisor for International Harvester. He was a member of Colonial Park United Methodist Church, Lower Paxton Township. He was a member of the Allison Hill Lions Club, having then transferred his membership to become a member of the South Hanover Lions Club. He served as Lions Club District 14-T Governor from 1988-1989 and 1991-1992. He was also a Melvin Jones fellow award winner.

Surviving are his wife, Vera B. Hunter; a daughter, Beverly A. Roller of Lower Paxton Township; a sister, Melba Duncan of Lykens; and a granddaughter, Tammy L. Roller of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in his church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, in his church.

Arrangements are being handled by the W. Orville Kimmel Funeral Home, Inc.
