DENMARK - Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie S. Barfield, who died in Orangeburg Hospital Monday, will be in Bethel Park Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Mrs. Barfield, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Sandifer, was born and reared in Bamberg County, and she and Mr. Barfield had the distinction of being the longest married couple in their community.
Surviving are her husband, W. J. Barfield, three children, Mrs. Mildred Davies and W. J. Barfield, Syracuse, N. Y. and Edward Barfield, Denmark, and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Hightower and Mrs. Ada Sutton of Columbia.
