Funeral service for Clyde H. Allmon was October 3, 2011 at James & Gahr Mortuary with Ken Fiebelman officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of James & Gahr Mortuary, Salem.
Interment was in the North Lawn Cemetery.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
Mr. Allmon was born September 24, 1912 in Oregon County to James Allmon and Hester (Bradshaw) Allmon. He married Lucille Barnes in August 1947. They were the parents of three children. Mr. Allmon died September 30, 2011 at the age of 99 years and six days.
Survivors include children, Alberta Coffer and husband, Ray, Festus; Joyce Simpkin and husband, Paul, Washington; Shirley Allmon; and Randy Allmon; brothers, Harold Allmon, Marshfield; and Cecil Allmon, Alton; sister, Opal Andrews; and a host of grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; extended family and friends.
