Mrs. Hilda Wood Bomar, age 85, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2008. She was born October 25, 1922 in Douglasville, GA daughter of the late Dewitt T. and Lizzie Morris Wood. She was also preceded in death by her husband Joe Bomar. Mrs. Bomar was a member of First Baptist Church of Douglasville.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jo Ann and Johnny Thompson; grandchildren, Scott and Laura Thompson, Cindy and Don Carr; great-grandsons Jonah and Nick Thompson.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 27, 2008 from 5-8 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Dr. John Pennington officiating. Interment will follow at Douglasville City Cemetery.
