Patrick arrived in Quebec after 1831 and farmed on lots 10 and 11 of Range 6. He married Catherine "Kate" Brown on January 12, 1836 in St. Sylvestre, Lotbiniere, Quebec. 13 children where born of their union.
On 8th of August 1895 the undersigned priest interred in the cemetery of this parish the body of Patrick Barden, farmer husband of Catherine Brown of this parish, deceased on the 6th aged 90 years. Present Matthew Miller and Catherine Brown.
Daughter Catherine "Kate" Barden died in Lancaster, New Hampshire at the age of 42 in 1890 of TB and it is unknown where she is buried. She was single and worked as a housekeeper at the time of her death.
Daughter Ellen "Nellie" Barden died in Lancaster, New Hampshire at the age of 27 in 1883 of TB and it is unknown where she is buried. She was also unmarried.
