Mrs. Frances Jane Barden, nee Payne, 57, wife of Charles H Barden, 720 S Eighth Avenue, died at her home last evening at 7:05 o'clock after an illness of five months. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at 8:30 o'clock at the Barden Funeral Home and 9:30 o'clock at St. James Catholic Church, the Rev. T. F. Doyle officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home until the time of the funeral.
Mrs. Barden was born in Rudolph, Wood County, September 4, 1878, and was married to Mr. Barden in Wisconsin Rapids on December 3, 1902. A resident of Wausau for the past thirty-four years, she was a member of St. James church, and the ladies aid society of the church. Surviving are the widower, one daughter, Miss Lucille Barden, at home, two sisters, Mrs. Fred Duncan of Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Rose Duncan of Jennings, Louisiana, and one brother George Payne of Crosley, Minn.
