Margaret was a farm wife but also worked for Montello Products for a number of years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Montello and enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and many relatives.
Survivors include: one daughter, Carolyn (Wayne) Lammert of Jackson, one son, Dennis (Bonnie) of Pardeeville and three daughters-in-law, Judy, Dorothy, and June. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren as well as two sisters, Josephine Kallenbach and Joanne (Willard) Hamilton. Margaret is further survived by three sisters-in-law and many friends, she will be sadly missed.
Preceding Margaret in death are her parents, husband, five brothers, three sisters and three sons: Herb "Bud", Henry "Heinie", and Ronald. She is also preceded in death by two grandsons, a great-great-grandson and her step-mother, Emma Barron.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 313 E. Montello St., Montello. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Pastor Pete Zietlow will preside and burial will follow at the Montello City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. John's Ladies Aid. Crawford Funeral Home of Montello is serving the family.
