On June 3, 1940 Sammie Allen, Jr. was born
to the union of Sammie Allen, Sr.
(Deceased) and Pearlie Nickson Cooper.
Sammiewas united in holy matrimony to Ora
Woodard Murphy in August 1982. To this
union one beautiful baby girl was born
(Monyka) and he inherited a son (Martyce).
Sammie was a member of the New
Beginnings Church of God under the
leadership of Elder Willie Hart
where he served faithfully as a deacon.
He was the owner and operator of Sammie's
UniSeX Shoppe where he used his God givers
gift until his health failed. He we
lovingly called "The man Wlth the blessed
Sammie was the founder and president of
MULCH (Men United to Labor for Christ and
Humanity). He had a great passion for this
organization because it's cause was to do
something positive for the community and
the youth of our area.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories,
a devoted wife, Ora, two sons, Martyce
(Mildred) Murphy and Prince Edward Redman,
Chicago, IL; ten daughters: Monyko, Belzoni,
MS; Brenda Ellis, Markitta Boughton, Tara
Stamps, America Lewis, Chicago, IL; Diana
(Lovelle) Tiggs, Berkeley, IL; Samora (Tony)
Epting, Bellwood, IL; Regina Jackson,
Addison, IL; Kim (David) Mabry,
Gainesville, VA; Vicky (Joe) Murray,
Baton Ronge, LA; a loving mother;
Pearlie Nickson Cooper, Chicago, IL; one
brother, John (Ruby) Lofton, Bolingbrook,
IL; four sisters; Hattie Toy, Bertha
Williams, Willie Moss, Chicago, IL; Jean
Delaney, Milwaukee, WI; 42 grandchildren,
27 great-grandchildren, a host of neices,
nephews, cousins, a special God-mother
Lula (Nate) lrwin and many who lovingly
called him "DAD"
