She married Peter Andrews (the son of Samuel Andrews and Elizabeth Ridgway).
(So far I have their children as Sarah, Mary, and a son Jesse; one source, 'Somers Family Genealogy,' names him Jere and I believe it to be a bad transcription.)
Hannah's birth was given as the 11th month in old Quaker date style. Their year began in what is now March, so the 11th month would be modern-day January of the following year. Therefore "11th mo. 2nd day, 1733" would be January 2nd, 1734.
Her date of death is in question, as there were several Hannah Andrews who died near the same time. She may be the one who died March 4, 1819 in Tuckerton, though the birth year is a bit earlier. (NJ Deaths and Burials Index), and then further confusion below.
Because it's impossible to nail it down I am removing the date of death from the memorial. It may be updated in the future, if solid documentation is found.
The family links are correct, to the best of my knowledge.
NOTE: 8-11-2013: I have received information from a Billie Hunt, user #47040352, that there were two cousins named Hannah Somers Andrews and they're often confused.
Both 'Hannah [Somers] Andrews' married men with the same name Peter Andrews (who were also first cousins!), and it appears they may have died on or about the same date, but in different locations.
(While it seems unlikely, it is possible, as the Hannah Andrews who died in Salem, New Jersey on 21 February 1821 (NJ Deaths and Burials Index) may have been visiting or staying with family. Her mother remarried John Mapes, and some of the Mapes descendants are buried in Salem.)
The "Other" Hannah by the same name died in Philadelphia, PA and is buried there (Philadelphia Death Certificates Index). Both records state the same date of death.
Most family trees give this Hannah's date of death as the 12th of February rather than the 21st, of 1821.
If anyone cares to share further info, please be specific as to which point you're trying to make, and provide a primary source if possible.
