Cate was the 3rd wife of Captain John Morgan Burt, an American Officer in the Revolutionary War.
Capt. John Morgan Burt died in 1801 and Cate re-married to a Dr. Jared Hitchcock of New York on March 25, 1802.
Cate (Hamilton) Hitchcock Died in Saratoga County, New York November 7, 1820.
