William Elwood Fowler,77, of Muncy RD 1, and formerly of 97 West Houston Avenue, Montgomery, died at 9:25 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 1990, in Muncy Valley Hospital.
His wife of 54 years, the former Martha T. Cameron, died last Saturday.
He retired in 1978 from Schnadig, Montoursville, after 23 years of service, Mr. Fowler was employed by Bethlehem Steel, Williamsport, the former Chesterfield Furniture, Co. and the former Karpans.
he was a member of the Upholsterers International Union, and a former member of Moose Lodge 145.
Mr. Fowler was a member of First United Methodist Church, Montgomery.
Born Feb. 12, 1913, in Clinton Twp., he was a son of Harry R. and Helen Peck Fowler.
Surviving are two sons, William T., of Watsontown, and Rodney E., of Watsontown RD2; a brother, Kenneth E., of Watsontown; a sister, Mrs. Mary Vargo, of Turbotville RD 1, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Betzer's 40 East Houston Avenue, Montgomery.
