*Summary of Jasper County News
Perkins family records indicate that Donald Alburtus may have been born to Eulelia Mae Perkins, sister of Mary Arvilla Perkins Alburtus. Eulelia's death certificate indicates that she died of complications after childbirth. Donald was born February 25, 1915 and Eulelia passed away July 3, 1915. Unfortunately, I have been unable to verify a relationship between Eulelia and Donald as of this point in time; however, I have found census records showing that Donald was raised by the Alburtus family, and spent quite a bit of time at the home of his grandfather Richard Perkins.
