Mary Sue Bright Allen, age 85, of Arlington died at 8:04 am April 22 2012 at the home of her daughter in Arlington. She had been employed as a teachers aide at Arlington Elementary , Deena Lamp Factory and Garam Industries. She was a member of Arlington First Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher for over 40 years.

She is survived by her three children; Helen Jean Jackson, Marilyn Barksdale (Hugh) and Gerry Allen (Betty); six grandchildren Gerry Lin Jackson (Jamie), Holly Lawrence (Jason), Don Allen (Amanda), Dana Stephens, April Evans (Mark) and Bill Barkside; eleven great grandchildren; one sister, Mildred Hogancamp,and husband Junior.

She was preceded by her husband, Marion Webb Allen; three brothers and two sisters. Her parents were Thorton Clinton Bright and Lottie Wright Bright.

Private graveside services will be held at The Arlington Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Milner and Orr Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
