Isidro Aranda Aguirre, 66, passed away on Monday, November 21, 2011 at a local hospital. He was born on May 15, 1945 in La Mula, Chihuahua Mexico to Maximo and Alicia Aguirre. He was raised in Ojinaga Chihuahua Mexico and moved to Midland in 1974 where he worked in the oil field from 1975 until 2011 in different companies such as MacMachen, Caliche Drilling Co., and then retired from Exterran Energy Solutions. Isidro was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed visiting with his family on weekends, especially to be with his grandchildren. Isidro always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell. He taught everyone especially his son's that through hard work anything was possible, and that the true measure of a man was how he persevered. Isidro will be missed greatly by all his family and friends. Isidro was preceded in death by his mother, Alicia Aguirre Aranda and a sister, Armida Aguirre Aranda. He is survived by his wife, Carmen Aguirre Madrid; sons, Isidro M. Aguirre and Gilbert M. Aguirre; daughter, Hilda M. Aguirre; his father, Maximo Aguirre; brothers, Guillermo A. Aranda, Enrique A. Aranda, Ismael A. Aranda, Roberto A. Aranda, Andres A. Aranda, Ruben "Chapo" Aranda and Maximo A. Aranda and his sister, Dominga M. Aguirre. Funeral mass is set for today at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Fr. Edward de Leon, OMI officiating. Interment will follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be Isidro M. Aguirre, Gilbert Aguirre, Sergio Aguirre, Donny Aguirre, Ruben Aguirre Jr., Bobby Aguirre Jr., Randy Aguirre, and Lupe Aguirre. Honorary Pallbearers are Dino Cordova, Guillermo Aguirre, Lorenzo Ortiz, and Jimmy Aguirre. Funeral services were made with Heavenly Gate Funeral Home.
