On August 4, 2014 the current home owner who grew up on this property for over 60 years stated, "The cemetery was named the "Lytleville Cemetery" and the graves were moved to the old Heyworth Cemetery in Heyworth, IL". The manager of the Heyworth Cemetery, Dennis Powell (309-824-0534) who has managed the Heyworth Cemetery for over 30 years, disputes this claim. It is believed that the headstones of the Lytleville Cemetery were removed to capture the land as private property and the graves remain unmarked.
