Lloyd C. Ainge passed away November 16, 2012. He was born February 23,1932 in Spanish Fork, Utah the son of William C. and Sarah E. Ainge. He lived just six blocks from where he was born and raised.

Lloyd married Ruth Lucile Okelberry on March 6, 1951. They were later sealed in the Provo Temple. Shortly after their marriage he entered the Air Force for four years. He became an Air Force Police and served 13 months duty in Korea, after which he was stationed stateside in San Bernardino, Calif. and Spokane, Wash. He was a member of the Utah National Guard for several years. He was an excellent drywall contractor and passed his trade on to his sons and grandsons.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints. He served as Sunday School President and in the Elders Presidency. He served as a clerk under four bishops. He was also active in the Lions Club serving as president and in the Veterans of Foreign War serving as Commander.

His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and reruns of M.A.S.H. Many members of the community benefited from his generosity.

Lloyd is survived by his wife; children, Cindy Lambourne, Becki (Monte) Knepper, Julie Marvin, Mark Ainge and Janet (David) Everitt; 28 grandchildren and 41 great-grandchildren and two more on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, two sisters, his in-laws Earl and Gwen Okelberry and son-in-law, Hal Lambourne.

Funeral services will be held Saturday November 24 at 11:00a.m. at the 7th Ward Chapel 400 N 800 E Spanish Fork, UT, with a viewing from 9:45 -10:45 am. Friends may call Friday evening November 23 from 6-8 pm. at the Spanish Fork Walker Mortuary. Interment at the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
