Mrs. E. Alleman
Mrs. E. Alleman died last Tuesday morning after an extended illness. Ms. Alleman was born in Meca County, Minnesota in 1870. She came west in 1894 and was united in marriage to Edward Alleman in 1900 at Missoula, Montana.
She has been a resident of this county since 1901. Most of this time being spent in Lind. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and United Artisan Lodges who greatly mourn to lose her from their midst.
Mrs. Alleman was ill for some time, suffering from paralysis. She was taken to Spokane recently where she underwent an operation and seemed to be getting along nicely until Tuesday morning when she was taken by another relapse and passed away at the age of 48 years, 8 months and 24 days.
She is survived by a brother and two sisters, also a husband and three children, Edward, Edna and James.
The funeral services were held in the Methodist church on Thursday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. James W. Poolton. Interment was made in the cemetery north of town.
