Hattie Hersberger Obituary
Mrs. Hattie P. Hersberger, 74 of Rt. 3 died Thursday at Riverview Hospital after a lengthy illness. A native of Madison County, she was a member of the Emmanuel Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sons, James Hersberger of Anderson, Jack and John Richardson of Fort Wayne; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Phyllis Russell of Anderson; two brothers, Kenneth Hoffman of Anderson and Donald Hoffman of Yorktown; three sisters, Mrs. Leotta Carter and Mrs. Stella Kelly of Anderson, and Mrs. Betty Marlett of Yorktown; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 am Monday at the Fisher Brothers Funeral Home at Lapel with the Rev. Rex Custer officiating. Burial will follow in East Maplewood Cemetery.

Hattie was married To Melvin Richardson on April 15, 1930. They had twin sons and later divorced. She then married Tom Hersberger on Jan 13, 1939.
