Mrs. Clara Marie Gross died while at work of a heart attack at the Sanatorium where she lived and worked as a nurse's aide. She was born in Cottage Grove, Oregon September 8, 1897,and lived in Olympia from 1933 to 1951 when she moved to Seattle.
While here she lived on a peach farm near McLane School. She was a past officer of the Neighbors of Woodcraft in Olympia and was active in the McLane Woman's Club. Her husband William H. Gross died in Seattle in 1952.One son Stanley Madison in 1936 Tacoma Washington. Mrs Gross was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church.
Surviving are two sons. Wallace and William both of Seattle. two sisters: Mrs. C.A. Chamberlain,of Aberdeen Washington and Miss Frances Rosenberg of Hoquiam Washington and four grandchildren.
The funeral service was held at the Selene and Eros' Warnica Chapel on Wednesday afternoon. starting at one thirty o'clock. The Reverend J. Burton Salter, rector of St. John's Episcopal Church, will officiate. Burial will take place in Masonic Memorial Park. Washington.
