Grace L. Fansler February 6, 1930 - December 12, 2011
Grace Louise Fansler, 81, of Fremont, Ind., died Monday, December 12, 2011, at her Fremont home.
Mrs. Fansler had formerly worked at Q.C. Onics in Angola, Ind.
She was an active member of Jamestown Church at Fremont, Ind., and also an active member of the Steuben County Antique Tractor Association.
Mrs. Fansler loved all of her family very much.
She was born February 6, 1930, in Hillsdale County, Michigan to Garlyn and Lura (Seiple) Firestone. They preceded her in death.
She married Clayton Fansler on March 12, 1950, at Metz, Ind. He survives in Fremont.
Surviving with her husband are her children, Gary and Lisa Fansler of Auburn, Ind., Jay and Harriet Fansler of Angola, Ind., Jan Coarsey and John of Jacksonville Beach, Fla., Tony and Pam Fansler of Rochester, Ind., Rick and Martha Fansler of Delta, Ohio, and Neal and Billie Fansler of Angola, Ind.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Warren, Paul, Floyd and Lloyd Firestone; and three sisters, Esther Smith, Leora Weber and Opal Maucherman.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 15, 2011, at Beams Funeral Home in Fremont, Ind., with the Rev. Paul Metzger officiating. Burial will be in Berg Cemetery in Montgomery, Michigan
