After Robert died Alice May married Dr. George Trawick. He is buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery. They didn't have any children. George did from an earlier marriage.
She owned a large farm in Chesterfield, MO., which she sold "Lock, stock and barrel." She owned a store called "Kumtuit" in St. Louis. I gather it was quite successful. In the summer she maintained a shop in Harbor Springs, Michigan, which was a fashionable place to spend the summers in the 1920s and 30s.
Two of Alice Hoxie's children aren't buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
