|Birth: ||Mar. 22, 1848|
|Death: ||Jul. 2, 1924|
A daughter of George W. & Letitia M. Williams Garner.
Sallie E. Garner and W. L. Brannon married on Jan. 8, 1868, in Yalobusha County. They had two children not linked below:
• Loyd Clarence Brannon, born ~1869 in Mississippi, married Louise Mitchell ~1896 in Kentucky, last known alive in the 1930 census in Greenville, Mississippi.
• Samuel L. Brannon, born ~1872 in Mississippi, last known alive in the 1930 census in Jackson, Mississippi.
Two granddaughters were named after her, Sarah Garner Drane and Sara Garner Brannon. Both went by Garner as their first names, instead of Sarah.
Note: An image of her death certificate is located here. It lists her parents as George & Letitia Williams Garner. The informant on the certificate is her daughter Blanche. Sarah died in Blanche's home in Jackson.
Before her death certificate came to light, I believed that she was the daughter of Samuel R. Garner & Mary Donohoo Garner. Her father George and Samuel are believed to be brothers.
