96 1/2 years old, passed away in the comfort of family September 18, 2016. Born January 28, 1920 to Edward & Leota (Smith) Brown. He was raised in Cross Timbers, MO with his 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He met his wife Betty while stationed with the Army in England during WWII. They were married 72 years. He retired from GM in 1976 and was a proud union member. Left behind to mourn his loss is his wife Betty Joan (Oakley), his children Carol (Marv) DeGroote, Wayne (Carrie) Brown, Cheryl (Jim) Watters, Warren (Nancy) Brown, and Wesley (Samantha) Brown. He was blessed with 13 grand-children and 10 great grands. His quirky sense of humor will be missed by all. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25 at 11:00am at Floral Hills Funeral Home with services at noon and burial following.
