Evans, Margaret Lucile, 88 passed away 16 August 2000. Born in Amanda, Ohio 10 June 1912. Daughter of Leslie K. and Elizabeth (Steward) Lutz. Graduated in nursing from Ohio State University. Resident of Long Beach since 1945. Retired from the Long Beach Community Hospital after 14yrs as a registered Nurse. Former member the Long Beach Opti-Mrs Club. Preceded in death in 1956 by her husband Dr. Milton R. Evans (DVM); sisters, Mary E. Hershberger (Charles), and Dorothy I. Lutz, both of Ohio. Survived by one sister, Ruth E. Lockyer (Charles R.) of Kentucky. children; James M. of Hesperia, Richard K. of Orange, Roscoe L. of Long Beach, and Barbara J. of Sacramento; grandchildren, Deborah J. Gutierrez (Will) and Brian R. (Cheryl D.), and great-grandchildren; Adam A. and Jason A. Gutierrez, Brandon R., Ashley D. and Alexis C. Evans, all of Moreno Valley.
Stricklin/Snively Mortuary Long Beach in charge of arrangements.
