David Steele was a veteran of the American Revolutionary War. His background is Scots
Irish. The father of five chidren, four sons and a daughter is buried now without a marker or recognition of his service to his country. Even lacking a physical marker in this cemetery, all of David's ancestors remember his courage and bravery in facing many challenges of living in this area of Pennsylvania in the 1700s.
David died in Buffalo township. Shortly after this his family moved further west.
