Mr. George L. Harris age 72, passed away Thursday, November 6, 1997 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born January 5, 1925 in Overton County, he was the son of Hermon Mansford and Sallie Mae (Bilbrey) Harris. He was a member and deacon of the Harris Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Harris of Rickman; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Wayne Krantz, son and daughter-in-law; Gary L. and Pam Harris and daughter Cynthia Harris, all of Rickman; one brother, James L. Harris of Livingston; 2 granddaughters, Tiffany Krantz and Amanda Harris of Livingston; step-grandchildren Amy and Doug Henry of Rickman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Mildred (Harris) Hinson.
