"The death of Mrs Mary L Murray occurred at her home, No 146 East Main street, yesterday morning at 3 o'clock after a long and painful illness. Deceased had been a resident of this city for the past 34 years, the family making its home for a long period at Rew before their removal to this city. She is survived by her husband, William D Murray, and two daughters, Mrs Ida Henderson and Miss Vessa B Murray, all of this city. She was for many years a member of the United Brethren church. The funeral will be held at the late residence at 4:30 pm today, Rev R S Showers officiating, and the body will be taken tomorrow morning to Spartansburg, Pa, for burial."

"MRS W D MURRAY DEAD - Mrs George Pastorius of West Spring street received a telegram late last night announcing the death of her sister, Mrs W D Murray of Bradford. The remains will be brought to Spartansburg on Tuesday morning. The funeral will take place later in the day."
