He was a avid member of Palatka Bass Association and "lived/loved" to fish. He was 5'9" tall, and about 175. He worked over 25 years at Georgia Pacific near Palatka and died suddenly at work while on break. His ashes will be scattered as he would have wished .... on the St. John's River near his home. He was divorced many years from former wife, Debbie, and had one one beloved son, Jason Mark Thornton.
