Lillie was a Pioneer before her time regarding Genealogy. She researched her Family History and stories passed down to generations that she had located Civil War connections to our family and beyond. I so wish she had kept documentations of such to pass down to her children for them to have held to them to keep for us now. But, that information was not documented to pass on to her children and their children.

Lillie lst marriage was to Adolpus Jakes having children with him see above children..and they adopted a son by their house maid as she died while giving birth to him.
Her marriage to Adolpus Jakes ended and she remarried George Detchner. She is buried by both husbands.both buried Mt Olivet but no memorials for them.
Per her Death Cert. File No. 1948 her residence listed as 1008 Douglas Ave Nashville TN.
Cause of Death - Acute Cardiac Dilation
Contributory - Throat Infection
and High Blood Pressure.
Age 45 years 7 months and 28 days old.
