****Henry Burke Allen was born August 8, 1861. He married Ida Margaret Fair on a Wednesday morning in St. Thomas Church by his brother the Rev. William Cartwright Allen. Ida was the daughter of Mr. William Fair. Mary Linnecar played the organ. They took a boat trip down the St. Lawrence and were to reside with Mr. Wm. Fair on their return. Ida lived only about 7 or 8 years after that. Harry died on Thursday, October 13, 1955 in his 95th year.
