MRS. DELIA BALDWIN
Mrs. Delia Baldwin, daughter of Elias and Mary Coffield, was born January 11, 1882, at Ada, Kansas. She died April 5, 1962, at Asbury hospital in Salina.
Mrs. Baldwin's home, with her parents, was in the Rose Hill Community at Ada. Here she attended school and grew to womanhood. She was a member of the Ada Methodist Church to which she was faithful and loyal all of her life. She was a sincere Christian woman, a devoted wife and a loving mother. Everyone who knew her will miss her so much.
On December 19, 1916, she was united in marriage to Charles E. Baldwin. One daughter was born to them, Nartha, who is now Mrs. George Webster of Minneapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Baldwin made their home on a farm near Ada until 1943 when they moved to Minneapolis. Her husband died in December of 1950. Since that time Mrs. Baldwin has made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Webster.
The survivors are her daughter, Mrs. George Webster, and son-in-law, George Webster; one granddaughter, Belinda, all of Minneapolis; one niece, Mrs. Ward White of Ada; and other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 at the Fouts-Haley Funeral Home, with the Rev. J. Ralph Watkins officiating. Keith Bacon sang "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and "Goodnight Here and Good Morning There," with Mrs. Bill Hemenway at the organ.
Pall bearers were John Van Dame, Gilbert Eiler, Robert Webster, Leo Webster, Emmett King, and Ward White. Interment was made in the Ada Fairview Cemetery.
