Dr. Lewis Neff Ashworth was the son of James Lewis Ashworth and Lulu Blanche Neff Ashworth. He married to Juanita Adams Oct. 24, 1941. She was b. Aug. 5, 1911. Lewis Neff Ashworth was called "Neff" by his family. As a youngster he was a member of the Connersville High School Band, which was America's first High School Band under Otto Miessner. He graduated from Indiana Medical School and became a much loved and trusted medical doctor in Fayette County, Indiana until his death. He was also a World War I veteran.
