Obituary
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church for Hilda S. Alleman, age 92, the former Hilda Savoie, who passed away Monday, May 17, 2010 at 11:40 a.m. at River Oaks Retirement Manor in Lafayette.
Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Grand Coteau.

Mrs. Alleman was a native of Sunset, where she lived most of her life. She was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Grand Coteau.

Survivors include one son, John L. Alleman and his wife, Marion, of Slidell; one daughter, Priscilla Huval and her husband, Hubert, of Lafayette; eight grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren and a set of twins on the way; and eight sisters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson "T-Black" Alleman; her parents, Euclide Savoie and the former Marie Legere; one grandson, Anthony "Tony" Nugent; eight brothers; one sister; and one cousin, Havard Guilbeau.

Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 North University Avenue was in charge of arrangements.
