Viola Emmitt was the wife of Bert Hiram Fuller, who died in 1929. She later married Raymond Emmitt. She had two children, both with Bert: June and Kenneth. As a child, she lived on the same New Jersey street as Thomas Edison and played a piano recital for his wife, Mina. She lived all of her adult life in Ohio and was known to be stalwart and kind. She was greatly loved by eight grandchildren.
