Laura Faye was the child of Earl Zackariah "Zack" McCullough and Sinnia Rachel (York) McCullough.

Zack and Sinnia divorced sometime in the late 1920s. By 1930, Sinnia had re-married to Clarence Emmons Church and given birth to another daughter, Fern. When Sinnia and Clarence divorced a couple of years later, Fern went to live with her father and Faye was raised by her maternal relatives.

Sinnia Rachel changed her name to Zina Rae and on 21 August 1933 married Harlan Horace Gubser in Dillon, Montana. They later lived in Alaska. By the late 1940s Zina was living in Stibnite, Idaho, where she was a nurse. Faye met and married George Wendell Anderson at Stibnite. They had one daughter; George died 24 Sept 1947 of cancer; he was 26.

Faye met and later married John Laurins Nock on 8 May 1949 and they had two sons.

John was killed by a landslide on 23 Dec. 1964. Faye later married Earl Parks.
