Robert M. Bauermeister, 67, of Saddle Drive, died at 9:36 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis.
Robert retired in 2011 from the Indiana Department of Health where he was a surveyor. A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Josh Hall officiating. Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. until service time Sunday.
Robert was born in Kansas City, Missouri, November 15, 1946, the son of Robert M. and Helen M. Lesslie Bauermeister. He married Kelly Durr on December 4, 1987. Survivors include his mother, Helen M. Bauermeister of Independence, MO; his wife, Kelly Bauermeister of Columbus; children, Nate Bauermeister of Camby, Madison Bauermeister of Columbus, Yvone (Eric) Teitze of Lebanon, MO, Leslie (Clark) Richins of Lebanon, MO, and Amy (Brent) Null of Lebanon, MO; brothers, Gary (Marilyn) Bauermeister of Liberty, MO, and Mark Bauermeister of Kansas City; a sister, Peggy Butler of Independence; 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert M. Bauermeister.
