Grandma Bea was married to CHARLES (charlie)DAVID CONNER until his death she never remarried. I ask her once why she never tried to meet someone and she said charlie was her husband and would be until the day she died that she loved him so much she did not have room in her heart for anyone else, She was a strong woman everyone loved her so much, She was a beautician she had her own beauty shop in Santa Ana, Ca. She was the families rock kept everyone together, She loved cooking Sunday dinners so that the family would come together, She loved working in her yard she had a beautiful yard, And boy did she love telling bed time stories she was the best story teller when you stayed the night at her house and you heard these words-- You want to come sleep with grandma you knew you were getting a story even though you were a grown adult you would run to her bed, she was HOME she was LOVE, Just being around her made you feel good. You could always tell her your troubles and in a few minutes of her talking to you about it all was good with the world she had that way about her. She was a beautiful soul and there will never be any other like her.

Never got to meet Great Aunt Bea but my dad, Charles Owen LaRue, loved her. Always wished I could touch bases with all of the LaRue family members that I've never been able to meet. -
