Louvain Needham was born 30 July 1918 in Stanton Hill, Nottinghamshire, England to parents George William Needham and Amy Stanley. She was baptized 24 September 1918 in nearby Skegby, Nottinghamshire, England. Louvain immigrated to Canada with her family in 1927 and married Daniel James Graves on 21 December 1934 in Elk Point, Alberta, Canada. Daniel and Louvain moved to Michigan in 1943 for work and they were married until 1969. In 1970, Louvain married Charles "Ted" Large, and the couple lived in Michigan for awhile before moving to Jacksonville, Florida. Louvain was not happy in Florida, so she left and came back to Michigan, where she passed away of a brain aneurysm on 12 April 1991.
Louvain and Daniel had eleven children, including: Ethel, Dan Jr, Enoch, Marjorie, George, Rita, Gene, Jim, and twins Dale and Denise Graves. Her granddaughter Jaime is also buried in Christian Memorial.
