Died from his Injuries
Henry Adams, who was caved on in the Morning Star Mine at Iowa Hill on the 14th of April, died at Iowa Hill on the 28th of April from the effect of his injuries. In the accident, his hip was dislocated, besides he was hurt in the small of the back and injured about the body and head. It was thought at first he would soon be around again, but it seems the injuries were more serious than his friends suspicioned. He had the best of care, but no efforts could stay the hand of the destroyer, and in two weeks from the day he was hurt, he closed his eyes in the sleep which knows no waking this side of the grave.
