HOMER B COOK DIES; SERVICES TO BE SATURDAY
Homer B. Cook, 716 Walnut Street, died at Callaway Memorial Hospital this morning. He had suffered a heart attack at his home last Friday.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm Saturday at the Maupin Funeral Home here. The Rev Ted Mallinekrodt will officiate and interment will be in Callway Memorial Gardens Cemetary.
Mr. Cook was born Sept. 8, 1896, near Oklahoma City, son of the late Miles O. and Anne Cook. He was married in 1919 at Tulsa, Okla. to the former Agnes Bullard, who survives. They moved to Fulton in 1923.
At one time, he owned a taxicab firm here and was a taxicab driver for a number of years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Quentin Briggs, Knob Noster, MO and Mrs. Ann Heath, Fulton, one son, Homer B. Cook, Jr., Columbia; two grandsons and a number of nieces and nephews.
