Mother was raised in Sugarhouse and graduated from South High School. She began working as an x-ray technician at age 18. She married at age 24 and raised a family of six children. She later returned to work as a radiology technician for several years. She lived in Holladay, Utah most of her adult life, then moved to Sandy, Utah.
Mother and Dad began building their much loved cabin, "Back of the Moon" in 1946. So many memories made there will be treasured as long as we live.
Mother was a missionary and served, with her husband, two missions for the LDS Church in the Australia Adelaide and England London Missions. She had a strong testimony even as a young girl. When her father passed away she worked and financed her younger brother's entire mission. She was pleased to send all five of her sons on missions for the LDS Church. Fourteen grandchildren have served missions, including three who are currently serving.
Mother was a wonderful example of hard work and service to her family. Dinner was prepared and on the table every evening. We had such fun as a family around the dinner table. Mother loved us and taught us right from wrong. We will be forever grateful for her love and teachings.
