DOTSON, THELMA JUANITA E. - age 73, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, June 25, 2001, at U. T. Hospital. She was a charter member of Safe Harbor Baptist Church and Vice President of the W.M.U. She was retired from Levi's. Preceded in death by parents, Hillard Edens and Martha Wallace; brothers, Arvel and James Edens. Survivors: husband, Ronnie T. Dotson; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Don Smith, and Vicki and David Archer; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Brenda Dotson, Rev. Ronnie and Debby Dotson, and Larry E. Dotson; grandchildren, Joey and Tanya Smith, Angela Archer, Steven and Hollie Dotson, Amy Dotson, and Dustin Dotson; sister, Shirley Baker, and several nieces and nephews. Special friends, Louise Dezern and Shirley Farmer. Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel. with Rev. Ronnie Dotson, Rev. Eddie Myers, and Rev. Ray Gass officiating. Interment in Bookwalter Cemetery. Pallbearers: Joey Smith, Steven Dotson, Dustin Dotson, Jamie Haun, David Baker, and Ryne Baker. Honorary pallbearers: Gary McCroskey, Ted Cooper, and Robin Merrit. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
