civil war soldier,Co, I, 123rd Indiana infantry. He enlisted March 3,1864 as a Private, he mustered out Aug 25,1865 at Raleigh,NC.
His brother Jasper and Jasper's wife are buried right behind Thomas, he also served in the Civil war, but he doesnt have a Military stone, just a regualr one,
Thomas Maple's wife is Matilda (Wilden) Maple,#54566172. she is buried in Ross also, but doesn't not have a tombstone, she is remembered on a stone erected by George Metz, with other names of people who are buried there without stones.
