| Birth: | Feb. 7, 1875 Lampasas Lampasas County Texas, USA | | Death: | Sep. 11, 1957 Belton Bell County Texas, USA |  The Honorable Judge Martin Mullins White, born and eduated in Lampasas, TX, admitted to the UT Bar in 1898 and the same year appointed Lampasas Cty. Attorney and remained in this post for two terms.
In 1899 in Kyle, TX he married Reguina Jean "Jean" (Carpenter), daughter of Dr. John Clayton Carpenter and Margaret Louise (Rector) of Kyle, TX. In 1900 Martin commissioned the Casbeer family, well known masons in the Lampasas area, to build a two-storey, natural stone homestead on a high, limestone hill northeast of downtown Lampasas. Martin and his family moved into their new home in 1908, residing there until 1916 when Martin was appointed District Attorney and they moved to Belton, Bell Cty., TX.
With a private practice in Belton and Temple, TX, Martin served in various district seats the rest of his life, including district Judge in Belton in 1952 and when he retired in 1957, and passed away that same year, he had been the City Judge of Belton.
Judge White was the son of Maj. Martin White and Mary (White) White of Lampasas, TX. Two separate White families merged with Maj. Martin and Mary's marriage. Both of these White families were early pioneer families originating from White County, TN, AL and SC.
Judge White and his wife Jean (Carpenter) had children:
