Frances Martina "Frances" (Markward) Hall, daughter of John and Adelphia (White) Markward of Lampasas, TX, where she was born and received her early education. She was trained in voice at Southwestern University in Georgetown, TX.
Frances moved to Dublin in 1915, residing with her sister Ethel and brother-in-law, Atty. John Edward Hickman. On 6/10/1919 in Dublin, TX she married James Walter "Walter" Hall of Royce City, TX. Among her many talents, Frances was also the keeper of the family history, and wrote remembrances of growing up in Lampasas and their life in Dublin.
Her siblings were Ethel (Markward) Hickman, also buried at Live Oak (#28026172), Martin Forrest Markward, buried at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery, Ft. Worth, TX (#90889880) and two brothers who died young, buried in Lampasas, TX with her parents.
Frances and Walter had two children: John Walter Hall of Oklahoma, and a daughter, who died as an infant. (#27946131)
