great-granddaughter.

WOODLAWN — Funeral services for Raymond W. Akers, 65, who was fatally injured in a traffic accident on Highway 58 between Hills­ville and Galax Tuesday, March 18, 1969, were con­ducted at Coulson Church at the Brethren Friday at 2 p.m.
by the Rev. Donald O. Clay.
Interment was in the Mabe Cemetery.
The body was moved from Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Fu­neral Home, Hillsville, to the church one hour before the services. (Survivors' names were listed in the March 20
Ga­zette.)
Mr. Akers was born in Carroll County Sept. 16, 1903, to John W. Akers and Eugenia Myers Akers.
