Della Marie Alexander, 61, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2012.

She was born August 26, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Charles Lewis and Magdalene (Davis) Johnson.

Mrs. Alexander was employed by dietician for Eveningtide Nursing Home, retiring in 2008.

Survivors include: a son of Panama City Beach, FL and a son of Topeka; 16 grandchildren; and 7 siblings all of Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Darnell James Johnson and two siblings, Florence Jones and Lester Johnson.

Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
